DEATH MARCH and liberation
With the allies coming up towards Berlin the Nazis evacuated the concentration camp bringing most of the Jews and other prisoners with them those who were to sick to come or stayed behind were liberated by the Soveit union in 1945.Jews were forced to march hundreds of miles to the train station only to be killed in differant camps.But as time passed more camps were liberated gas chambers were dismantled so the jews kept marching until the last weeks of the war.BY 1945 all camps were liberated and the world saw the horror of concentration camps.
DEATH TOLL
The death toll of the jewish people from 1939-1945 was around six million 800,000 Jews died in ghettos about 1,400,000 Jews were killed by mass shootings and the rest died in camps Polands jews killed was about 90% of the jewish population in Poland.The most death at a camp was auschwiitz over one million were killed there.
In the end the european jewish communitty was nearly wiped out but would eventually recover with the concentration camps gone and Adolf Hitler dead the holocaust was fineally over not many survived Germany would the than be divided up and begin of the cold war the people who survived the holocaust would move on but probly never forget the horrors they had to go threw
