HOLOCAUST history Fair Project The holocaust was a turning point in jewish history it affected many jews lives by causeing the extermination of six million jews of all kinds of people like the elderly women and children sick and the men were forced to do extremely hard labor. jews were also medically experimented on and had to endure brutal surgerys. Jews were also forced to hide their religion and become differant people to hide from the nazis jews who were still not captured in europe were mostly in hiding from nazi soilders. jews would take drastic meaures to hide from the invadeing nazis such as hide in cellars attics ect. Non jewish families would be very heroic and hide jews in their attic by placing a bookshelf over the door so when the police came to check houses most of the time they would not find them. Unfortanatly sometimes the Nazis would find the jews hiding and than beat them arrest them along with the people who volenteered to help them than they would be shipped off to concentration camps. concentration camps was the place were Jews had too endure phisical and emotional torture. once arrived after a long train ride without food or water they would have to shamefully remove all ther clothes fully nude. They than have to shave all their heads and switch to prison clothes once all this was done jews and other people would be seperated from their familys men would be sent to hard labor and women and children were sent to gas chambers to be killed and experimented on. Eventually the war ended in 1945 and the jews were liberated by the allies.The holocaust was the biggist genocide of the jewish people it costed so many lives on all sides and will forever be remembered.
